By playing DrawRank you agree to these terms. They're short because the game is simple: one line a day, scored on our servers, ranked against everyone else.
1. Who can play
- You must be at least 13, and old enough where you live to accept these terms.
- You need an account to enter the World Challenge. Practice mode is open to anyone.
- One account per person. If you need a new one, ask us to close the old one first.
2. One shot per day
- The World Challenge allows one official attempt per day, on the day's challenge, and the day changes at 00:00 UTC.
- Once your attempt starts, the day's line is released to you and your attempt is recorded as used. If you close the page, reload, or lose connection mid-run, that attempt counts as used and you'll be able to play again the next day.
- Practice mode is unlimited and never affects your score, rank, or streaks.
3. Scoring
- Your score is calculated on our servers from the points you traced: how closely you followed the line, how much of it you covered, and how quickly — with speed only counting once your trace is accurate enough that scribbling can't win.
- Scores sent by a player's own device are never trusted. If the server can't reproduce your score, it isn't posted.
- Leaderboard positions, streaks, badges, and the daily champion are decided by the server at the moment your attempt is recorded.
4. Fair play
- Play with your own hand — mouse, trackpad, finger, or stylus. Scripts, bots, macros, auto-drawers, replayed inputs, or any tool that traces the line for you are not allowed.
- Don't try to see the day's line before you've played it, or share it with others.
- We may remove scores, revoke badges, or close accounts used to cheat, and we may do it retroactively. We'll try to tell you when we do, but we aren't obliged to.
5. Your account and your content
- Keep your login safe. Anything done from your account counts as done by you.
- Your username must not impersonate someone else, and must not be hateful, harassing, or illegal. We can rename or close an account that breaks this.
- You keep everything you draw. We only take the licence we need to run the game: to show your username, score, and achievements to other players and in the app's public views.
- You can stop playing at any time, and can ask us to delete your account and its data.
6. Availability and changes
- The game is free and offered as-is. We don't promise it will always be up, and we can change, pause, or stop any part of it — including the rules, the scoring weights, badge thresholds, and the daily challenge.
- We're not responsible for a lost attempt caused by your own device, browser, or internet connection.
7. No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from your use of the game is limited to the amount you've paid us — which, since it's free, is nothing.
8. These terms
- We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when. Playing on after an update means you accept it.
- If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
